After three Muslim college students were killed Tuesday in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, some people took to social media to criticize what they perceive as scant media coverage of the incident
Using the hashtags #MuslimLivesMatter and #ChapelHillShooting, they demanded that media outlets pay attention to how the lives of Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, his wife Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, 21, and her sister Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, were violently cut short. Craig Stephen Hicks was charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
still no major coverage of this. it feels great to live in a place that hates your guts#chapelhillshooting #muslimlivesmatter
