If you’ve got a need for speed then it’s advised you move to South Korea right now. Legions above the rest of the world when it comes to Internet speed, South Koreans enjoyed an average of 25.3 Mbps last year according to Akamai’s 2014 State of the Internet report. Want some perspective? The average in Australia is 6.9 Mbps. For shame. That’s all changing though, thanks to the rollout of the National Broadband Network (NBN).

Google Search Trends: The top food search in South Korea was ‘Domino’s Pizza’. Here’s hoping the delivery time of their most loved food chain matches that of their Internet speed. The top movie search was for Snow Piercer, and topping the list for the most searched person was Olympian Kim Yuna.
