Aboriginal girl stands blindfolded on a beach, asks people to embrace her

Social experiments are often at the center of viral videos. From free hugs to hugs for change, the act of human connection is often featured in the most emotional of content.


Earlier this year, a blindfolded Muslim man, Mustafa Mawla, took to the streets of Toronto with arms outstretched. He held a sign asking people for hugs if they trusted him. Dozens of people stopped to hug it out



In the same vein, indigenous Australian schoolgirl Jasirah Bin Hitam took to an Western Australian beach with a sign reading: "I trust you. Do you trust me? Let’s hug."
