KFC, best known as purveyors of breaded, salty chicken in buckets, is partnering with Seattle’s Best Coffee to release an edible coffee cup.
The future is now.
Called a "Scoff-ee" — which, gosh that's a terrible name, you guys — the edible coffee holders are essentially cup-shaped cookies, lined with white chocolate. The paper around the cup is made of sugar and is also edible.
Michael Keaton had a similar idea in 1982.
The cups were created by food scientists from the Robin Collective. A spokesperson for that company told Metro UK that they'd infused different aromas into each cookie cup as well, including "coconut sun cream, freshly cut grass and wild flowers." Read more...
